Depths of channels and basins are based on averaged dredging depths as recorded on the original 1993 NOAA map of Humboldt Bay: Project Dimensions, Humboldt Bay Harbor and Channel Depths, Tabulated from surveys by the Corp of Engineers - Surveys to 1992. This coverage inherits the same assumptions as the original map.
